To record a movie, you need to do a couple of things; the first one is the audition. You have to tap on the billboard in the Agency (in the trailer in Queens, and later on in Manhattan) and you will see the skills and collectibles required there. You can get skills from the Drama Factory and the Gym. You also have to collect all items necessary to attend. If you can’t find a collectible required to complete a quest, try to search at different places (benches, bins, boxes, etc.). You should be able to find every item that you’re asked for. Alternatively, you can use diamonds to buy the required collectibles instantly, just open the audition window, and tap on the button under the item you need.
Once you passed the audition, you can shoot the movie by going to the Movie Set (the building where the bodyguard usually stands in Queens, or later on in Hollywood). Complete all 4 scenes by performing activities using energy (marked by yellow action pins), or by skipping them in exchange for diamonds (using the blue action pin). Publish your film and wait for 5 minutes for the tickets to sell.
