Spilled paint changes the color of the colored item that finds itself on the spilled paint tile. The color change happens at the end of every turn, after a move is used. Since using boosters such as the Octopus and the Harpoon doesn’t use a move, this won’t trigger the spilled paint changing the color of the colored item on it. 

 

The paint tile cannot be destroyed or removed.
